The Mental Wellbeing Project run by Elmet is a community engagement service which aims to provide a range of sessions in the community setting. There will be a twenty four week programme based on mental wellbeing for Rotherham Social Prescribing Service patients, covering personal development, archaeology and history, and a variety of mindfullness, relaxation and positive visualisation techniques.
We also aim to reduce social isolation, leading to improvement in mental health, provide access to physical activity based on archaeological work, and increase psychological health by providing therapeutic interventions.
This project is available to individuals as defined by both the Rotherham Social Prescribing Service and Voluntary Action Rotherham.
